My Favourite City

Last Thursday me and my brother ventured into Manchester, our favourite city, for a day of shopping. We caught the train into Manchester in the morning, having a good old chin-wag and catch up. I had an awful lot of things on my shopping list as I am currently in the middle of getting my hospital bag ready. (I will do a post soon on my hospital bag and what I'm packing.)

Manchester has always held a dear place in my heart, it was the place where I went to University and the city that I always go to when I want to do shopping, go to a museum or take in the surroundings. The architecture in Manchester is really breath-taking, it makes me feel as though I'm in a mini New York and when I'm in the Northern Quarter, I feel as though I have been transported to a mini Brooklyn.

There are so many delicious places to eat and I intend on doing a blog article soon, letting you in on where my favourite places to eat are. The other great thing about Manchester is that there are so many different areas which are tailored to various styles of shops and eateries. If you haven't visited, you won't be disappointed, Manchester is a truly incredible city.
